HOPE has grown exponentially in the last year. With that growth we were able to purchase land for our future clinic! This land is located just outside of El Viejo and has two access roads on both sides of the plot. There is also access to the highway to be able to transport critically ill patients to a hospital in Chinandega in a timely manner. We will have the opportunity to grow in the future with other surrounding lots that are for sale as well. Our goal for the sponsorship program is to raise support for our physicians, nurses, and other staff members at the clinic. We are looking for someone to support our staff financially so we are able to provide jobs and give the staff an opportunity to provide for their families. Karla will be the Director of our clinic. Karla attended school in Nicaragua and has 10 years of experience working as a CPA and developing leadership skills. She will be such an asset to our team in helping build up our clinic into an organization that supports the surrounding community. Irela will be the Supervisor at the clinic when our permanent residence is built. Irela attended medical school in Nicaragua and now is practicing family medicine. She is also the sister of co-founder Willie Ramirez. Irela is an intelligent woman with great experience in management as well as building strong relationships with her patients.
